We are all familiar with images of Paxton's iconic structure which stood on this site, and of the magnificent fountains and extraordinary dinosaurs which decorated the world's first theme park, but today, although still much loved, it is a sorry shadow of its former self. In light of the fact that the park may one day undergo a massive overhaul, which will hopefully revive this important landscape, I thought it should be captured in its current state, warts and all.
